Hopmann Marketing Analytics is a family-run boutique consultancy for data strategy, digital analytics, data engineering, data visualization and marketing science based in Munich and Schliersee. For over 18 years, we have been supporting well-known clients from the telecommunications, automotive, IT, medical and retail sectors with enthusiasm, determination and expertise. Hand in hand with our clients, we carry out complex analyses of company data, make them accessible to all relevant stakeholders in meaningful visualizations and ad hoc reportings and develop action-oriented solutions that enable data-driven decisions for marketing and sales teams. Your Tasks

  • Implementation of complex web and app tracking setups in tag management solutions (e.g. from Tealium, Snowplow, Adobe, and Google)
  • Advising our customers on the introduction and optimization of digital analytics solutions – especially with regard to the continuous changes in the technical and legal framework
  • Appraisal and analysis of customer requirements
  • Deriving professional concepts based on the goals and strategies of our customers
  • Creation of technical specifications and instructions for the implementation of “data layers” and digital analytics tools
  • Ensuring compliance with the relevant data protection regulations
  • Preparation of presentations and training sessions

Your Qualifications

  • Academic degree, ideally with a technical background
  • Several years of professional experience, e.g. as a front-end developer, consultant, or digital analyst
  • In-depth experience with one or more tag management solutions (e.g. Adobe EP Data Collection (Launch), Google Tag Manager or Tealium IQ)
  • Confident use of the relevant digital analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics)
  • Interest in new technologies and stacks (server-side implementations, Snowplow, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of Javascript and web technologies
  • Fluent in English, German language skills a big plus
  • Knowledge of project management as well as very good analytical skills and strong communication skills and willingness to travel (we very rarely have to travel for work)
