Now it’s time to proudly reap the first rewards: Last month, we opened our new training center at beautiful Schliersee, just an hour away from Munich. We have already successfully held the first training course on “Data visualization with Power BI” there. This was an internal trial training course, as we have very high quality standards and at the same time attach great importance to the further training of our employees.
From April 2024, we will be launching our first publicly available training courses, which can be booked now. We can’t wait to welcome you as a guest in person!

REVIEW OF THE TRAINING “DATAVIZ WITH POWER BI”
Our initial workshop “Professional data visualization with Power BI” recently took place at our training center in Schliersee under the direction of our experienced trainer Tobias Lanzl. The participants were given a good insight into the world of the data visualization tool Power BI and learned how to visualize data effectively.
The training focused on the following content:
- Introduction to Power BI and exploration of the user interface
- Introduction to loading and preparing data
- Overview of different visualization types and their advantages and disadvantages
- Visualizations in Power BI
- Introduction to Data Analytics Expressions (DAX)
Great emphasis was placed on a balanced mix of theory and practice. Various exercises on what was learned directly in the tool loosened up the training and ensured that what was learned could be applied immediately. At the end of the first training day, all participants were able to perform calculations independently using a sample data set and visualize data in their Power BI dashboard based on various questions. This resulted in a finished dashboard that was calculated and created using a .csv file with raw data.

The feedback on the Power BI training was consistently positive: the participants were enthusiastic about the content and teaching methods and gained valuable insights, as can be seen from an excerpt of anonymous feedback:
