How to get there
By car, it is about 55 kilometers from Munich to Schliersee. Take the A8 highway towards Salzburg as far as the Weyarn exit. Then take the state road to Miesbach and then the main road 307 directly to Schliersee. Parking is available near the office.
By train, you can usually take a train of the Bayerische Oberlandbahn from Munich to Schliersee at least every hour. You can either get on at Munich Central Station or at other stops such as Donnersberger Brücke or Harras. All details and connections can be found here. Tip: The train splits before Schliersee. Please make sure that you are sitting in the correct compartment.
By plane, please travel to Munich Airport. From there you can either hire a car or take public transport to Schliersee. To do this, you would take the S1 or S8 to the main station and from there take the regional train as described above. A cab is certainly also an alternative, but public transport is generally more cost-effective and environmentally friendly.
